questions
What is the dress code?
Formal attire is requested. We suggest tea-length or longer dresses for women and suits for men. Gentlemen are welcome to leave their ties at home.
Will there be transportation from the wedding to the reception?
Yes — a trolley will provide transportation, departing from The Westin at 12 PM. Guests will be taken to the ceremony, continue on to cocktail hour and the reception, and return to the hotel at the end of the evening (approximately 11 PM).
You are also welcome to transport yourself via Uber or personal vehicle, as parking is available at both venues. We are also mindful of the “Catholic gap” in the schedule, and guests who prefer may choose to drive themselves between the ceremony and reception during the brief two-hour break between events.
What should guests expect between the ceremony and reception?
Following the ceremony, there will be a brief two-hour break before the reception begins, with approximately a 30-minute drive between venues. For guests taking the trolley, transportation will continue directly to Waterside, where cocktail hour and the reception will be held. Waterside offers a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops to enjoy during the break before the evening celebration.
What is the timeline for guests not taking the trolley?
Please arrive at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church by 12:45 PM. Cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 PM at Osteria 500, approximately 30 minutes from the church.
